Game Thoughts
The Hawks take on the Pistons today in the second of three meetings on the year. The Hawks lost the previous meeting in Detroit 94-88. The Pistons are expected to be without Rodney Stuckey who is recovering from collapsing on the Pistons bench during a game last week. Will Bynum is filling in at the point and had twenty assists in a victory over Washington last night. The Pistons are probably as healthy as they have been all season with Richard Hamilton and Tayshun Prince both back playing. I find it interesting that both of their off season free agent acquisitions Ben Gordon and Charlie Villuenueva are both coming off of the bench. As has been much of the past week the Hawks are playing a team with an inferior record. With the team’s recent struggles I am not even looking at records. This would be a great game for the Hawks to make a statement in. Will it happen? Only the team knows the answer.
