Some of my reactions:
- Seriously? An NBATV game? Are the Hawks really that hard to watch? (Don’t answer that…)
- Does TNT hate us? With TNT being based in Atlanta, I figured they would show some games on TNT. Kenny Smith probably reccommended the top dogs on TNT not to cover the Hawks. Hater.
- I hope the Hawks get Mike Tirico/Hubie Brown/Lisa Salters working the game. They’re the best trio on ESPN.
- If not, I’ll probably just stick to the local broadcast and listen to Bob Rathbun (@hawksvoice) go ballistic and Dominique Wilkins frequently use the phrase “I’ll tell you what…” in every sentence. Or maybe I will watch the ESPN feed and just mute the TV and listen to Steve Holman (@RealVoiceofHawk) calling the game on Audio League Pass. I might need the homerism of the Hawks broadcast if this Hawks team plays badly.
- I’ll be praying that the Hawks are still playing come the month of May. I hope you do the same.
