New Jersey: Brook Lopez (broken right foot) is out.

Records: NJ Nets are (1-2) and ATL Hawks are (2-0).
Streak: Nets are on a 2 game losing streak. Hawks are on a 2 game winning streak.
Away/Home: The Nets are (1-1) on the road, and the Atlanta Hawks are (1-0) at home.
The Hawks are 2-0, with an average margin of victory of 32 points, and have yet to trail in 96 minutes of play. The two games were against two of the worst teams, but it’s still safe to say the Hawks are playing at a high(er) level so far this season.
The Nets meanwhile are struggling early in the season. Asides from a comeback win on their season opener vs. the Washington Wizards, they don’t have much to harp about right now. The Nets will be playing their fourth game in five nights tonight, as they lost last night’s battle in Orlando. Expect some tired legs.
This game will be the second of three match-ups between the Hawks and Nets. This will be the first and last time New Jersey will travel to Atlanta this season (unless they meet in the playoffs, which is unlikely). The Hawks are 1-0 so far in the season series, beating the Nets in their home floor by 36 points. Last season, the two teams split the season series 2-2, with both teams winning two games in their own home floor.
