The injury bug has officially hit the Hawks.

Al Horford has been out with a pectoral injury. Jason Collins has been out with a torn ligament in his elbow. Vladimir Radmanovic missed the last game because of illness.

Now, you can add Joe Johnson and Willie Green to the list.

From Hawks.com Press Release:

ATLANTA, GA —– Atlanta guards Joe Johnson and Willie Green will miss at least the next two contests – vs. Milwaukee and Oklahoma City – with injuries, it was announced today by athletic trainer Wally Blase. The status of both players will be re-evaluated prior to the Hawks’ six-game, 10-day trip that starts Monday.

Johnson, who missed two games before Sunday’s All-Star Game with tendinitis in his right knee, saw action in 26 minutes of Wednesday game against Golden State. Green’s injury occurred when the Warriors’ David Lee landed on his back and forced him to leave the game in the fourth quarter.

Add the fact that Vladimir Radmanovic is also questionable for tonight’s game vs. the Milwaukee Bucks, and you have a possible 5 players out for the Hawks.

Oh, and did I mention that Zaza Pachulia is also suffering a calf strain, and Josh Smith is feeling some illness? Both are expected to play tonight, but c’mon, the injuries and all the illness are piling up on the Hawks right now.

The Hawks’ faith now lies on Jerry Stackhouse’s shoulders (joking…..I think).
