The high flying Atlanta Hawks (8-4) extended their winning streak to five straight games after dominating the Los Angeles Clippers (8-5) on Saturday night 104-93.
The Hawks had five players in double-figures and were led by Georgian native Zaza Pachulia’s double-double performance of 19 points and 12 rebounds. Point guard Jeff Teague also recorded a double-double, his second in two days, with 19 points and 11 assists. Lou Williams (18), Josh Smith (17) and Al Horford (10) were also in double-figures.
Blake Griffin led Los Angeles with a game-high 22 points, while also grabbing 11 boards in the contest. Teammate Chris Paul added 19 points and bench players Eric Bledsoe and Jamal Crawford chipped in with 12 points each.
The Clippers have now lost a season-high three straight games after winning their previous six in a row.
The Hawks on the other hand, have now won a season-high five consecutive games after dropping three of their previous four contests.
Atlanta has a few days to rest before hosting divisional foe Charlotte Bobcats on Wednesday, Nov. 28 at 7:30 PM (ET).
