Atlanta Hawks sharp-shooter Kyle Korver returned to practice today after being sidelined for the past two weeks due to back spasms. He also missed a game during that span because his wife was giving birth to the couple’s first child.
According to AJC Hawks beat writer Chris Vivlamore, Korver “has arrived and will practice with the team in preparation for Wednesday’s game against the Magic. No determination has been made on his status for the game.”
Korver missed the last five games and hasn’t played any minutes since the Nov. 28 matchup against the Charlotte Bobcats in Atlanta. The Hawks won that game 94-91 and extended their winning-streak to six straight. Of course, the first game Korver missed, the Hawks’ streak came to a disappointing end as the Cleveland Cavaliers upset them 113-111 in Atlanta. Since then, the Hawks are 3-1 in Korver’s absence.
