The Atlanta Hawks will be without two key players tonight as Devin Harris and Ivan Johnson are both inactive against the hosting Cleveland Cavaliers.
This is Harris’ fifth straight missed game as the combo guard is still suffering from a sore left foot. Harris injured himself in the first half of the Washington Wizards game on Dec. 18 and hasn’t played since then. He did not travel with the team to Cleveland.
Johnson was initially reported as doubtful for tonight’s matchup with stomach illness, according to Hawks beat writer Chris Vivlamore of the AJC.
“Johnson made the trip to Cleveland but was unable to go to the arena for this morning’s practice. Coach Larry Drew said he doubted Johnson could play but would wait until game-time to make a final determination.”
Vivalmore later confirmed that Johnson is indeed inactive for tonight’s game:
“Ivan Johnson is definitely out tonight. He remained at the team hotel,” writes Vivalmore.
With Harris and Johnson out, Lou Williams will remain in the lineup alongside the usual starters Jeff Teague, Kyle Korver, Josh Smith and Al Horford.
