After missing the previous month with an injury, Atlanta Hawks swingman Anthony Morrow said he ‘definitely’ will play against the Toronto Raptors on Wednesday, according to AJC Hawks beat writer Chris Vivlamore.
Morrow returned to full-contact practice Tuesday after nursing a nagging lower back for the past month.
His last game action was on December 28 against the Cleveland Cavaliers in which he played just seven minutes and was held scoreless. On 12/26 at home against the Detroit Pistons, Morrow dropped 16 points in 18 minutes — his second best outing of the season. However, that’s only the second game he’s reached double-figures (17 vs MIA).
Morrow is averaging 5.5 ppg, 0.4 apg and 1.0 rpg this season.
In other injury related news, Al Horford and Zaza Pachulia sat out of practice earlier Tuesday to get treatment on nagging injuries tweets Vivlamore and the surgery date to repair Lou Williams’ torn ACL has not been scheduled yet.
