Jeff Teague was phenomenal in Atlanta’s 103-92 triumph over the Memphis Grizzlies as the Hawks point guard finished with 22 points and a season-high 13 assists while shooting 70 percent in the game.
In order to fully appreciate Teague’s remarkable performance, Elias Sports Bureau puts it into perspective:
Teague Dishes And Swishes In Atlanta Win
From Elias: Jeff Teague had 22 points, 13 assists and shot 7-for-10 from the field in Atlanta’s victory over Memphis on Wednesday night. It was the second time this season that Teague has had at least 20 points, 10 assists and made 70 percent of his field-goal attempts in a game (he also did that on November 9th against Miami). Only one other player in the league has done that once this season: Greivis Vasquez. Two other players in Hawks’ history have had multiple games with 20 points, 10 assists and a .700 field-goal percentage in the same season: Spud Webb (1985-86) and Walt Hazzard (1970-71).
