It wasn’t the highly anticipated Josh Smith deal, but an Atlanta Hawks player was traded on Deadline Thursday.
According to ESPN’s Brian Windhorst, the Hawks have traded swingman Anthony Morrow to the Dallas Mavericks for Dahntay Jones.

Atlanta saves $1.1M in the deal as Morrow, 27, is on the books for $4M and Jones for $2.9M — both players have expiring contracts.
Morrow has been plagued with a lower back injury for much of the season and has only appeared in 24 games for the Hawks. He is averaging 5.2 points and 1.1 rebounds per game.
Jones, 32, has appeared in 50 games this season and is averaging 3.5 points and 1.4 rebounds per game.
