He just keeps draining ‘em!

Kyle Korver made a three-pointer after only a minute of action on Wednesday night for his 69th straight game with a deep ball. He passed Reggie Miller to take sole possession of 4th place in the record books. The sharpshooters in front of Korver are Dennis Scott (78 games, Michael Adams (79 games), and Dana Barros (89 games).

Korver’s recent cold spell has dropped him down to 3rd in 3P% (45.4%), behind Jose Calderon (46.1%) and Stephen Curry (45.5%). While its hard to call any stretch during this streak a cold spell, Korver has put up several 1 of 3 shooting nights recently. A hot shooting night against the New York Knicks was exactly what he needed to boost his shooting confidence even higher (from sky high to outerspace high).

He does hold the record for highest single season 3p% from back in 2009-10 when he was on the Utah Jazz. Let’s hope he can continue to knock down open looks down the stretch.

Korver is on fire going into crunch time. Can he keep it up?
