Hawks-Raptors to Replace Celtics-Pacers On TNT in Wake of Boston Marathon Explosion

The Atlanta Hawks home game against the Toronto Raptors scheduled for Tuesday, April 16 at 7:30 PM (ET) has been rescheduled to be televised on TNT at 8:00 PM (ET), replacing the regularly scheduled Indiana Pacers vs Boston Celtics game in wake of the Boston Marathon explosion that occurred Monday afternoon.

The Celtics-Pacers game has been canceled and will not be rescheduled, according to NBA.com.

National Basketball Association game scheduled for Tuesday, April 16 between the Indiana Pacers and the Boston Celtics at TD Garden has been canceled. The game will not be rescheduled. TNT, which was originally scheduled to air the game, will now show the Hawks host the Raptors at 8 p.m. ET.

The NBA expresses its sympathy to all those affected by the tragedy in Boston earlier today.

Neither team has anything to play for as Indiana (#3) and Boston (#7) are both locked into their respected seeds and cannot move up or down in the playoff standings.
