Al Horford set playoff career-high’s with 26 points and 16 rebounds as he and the Atlanta Hawks annihilated Indiana 90-69 in Game 3 Saturday night, cutting the series to 2-1.

It was the Pacers 12th straight loss in Philips Arena.

Josh Smith scored 14 points and Jeff Teague tallied 13 for the Hawks.

The Pacers jumped out to an early 8-1 lead to start the game but Atlanta responded with a soul-crushing 42-10 run from the 9:34 mark of the first quarter to the 5:06 mark of the second quarter. The Hawks shot 56 percent (18-for-32) during that time span, while the Pacers shot 11.1 percent (3-for-27).

Indiana was led by David West and Paul George who combined for 34 points and 15 rebounds, while Gerald Green (10) was also in double-figures.

George averaged 25 points in the first two matchups against smaller defenders but was defended by 6’9” Josh Smith for most of Game 3 and struggled mightily as he was limited to 16 points on 4-of-11 shooting overall. He had the worst +/- among the Pacers starters with -17.

Roy Hibbert was in early foul trouble and only registered 24 minutes of action. He had eight points on three-of-eight shooting with nine boards.

Game 4 is in Atlanta on Monday at 7:30 PM (ET).
