NBA Draft 2013: OKC Thunder Select Archie Goodwin With #29 Pick, Trade To Phoenix via Golden State

The NBA Draft started off with an absolute shocker as UNLV power forward Anthony Bennett was selected #1 overall by the Cleveland Cavaliers.

This pick was not as shocking, although it is a bit confusing.

With the #29 overall selection, the Golden State Warriors drafted Kentucky guard Archie Goodwin.

As we previously reported, Minnesota originally drafted Andre Roberson, but then traded him and Malcolm Lee to the Golden State Warriors in exchange for a 2014 second-round pick and cash. Then, Golden State immediately flipped Roberson to the Oklahoma City Thunder in exchange for the 29th pick (Archie Goodwin) and cash.

And now, according to NBA rumors, the Warriors will flip Goodwin, along with Malcolm Lee, to the Phoenix Suns in exchange for the #30 pick.

Hope your understood all of that.

We will be covering each pick of the NBA Draft all night long.
