Atlanta Hawks Deal #47 Pick Raul Neto to Utah Jazz

The Hawks had an opportunity to draft a stash player in Raul Neto. I guess they don’t want him very badly.

Raul Neto of Brazil was selected by the Hawks at pick #47 and then traded to the Utah Jazz in exchange for a future second round selection.
This pick reminds me of Sergiy Gladyr from 2009 and he hasn’t played a game in the NBA. However, some experts have stated that Raul Neto might beat out Trey Burke in Utah. Here’s ESPN’s Amin Elhassan’s take:

By the way, Jazz fans, allow me to blow your mind: get ready to like Neto more than Burke. Go ahead and favorite this

We’ll see if he turns out to be a solid player in Salt Lake City.

Prediction: That future second-round pick that we received? It will be traded, as well.
