The Andrew Bynum sweepstakes is a three-team race.
The Atlanta Hawks, Cleveland Cavaliers and Dallas Mavericks will all meet with the free-agent center this week.
Cleveland actually had the first crack at the seven-footer with a meeting earlier today, tweets ESPN.com’s Marc Stein:
Next up on the list are the Hawks and Mavericks. According to Stein, Bynum will meet with them some day this week:
Bynum, a two-time champion with the Lakers, was traded to Philadelphia last off-season after seven years in LA. Unfortunately, he never played a single game in a 76ers uniform because of knee surgery. The last time he suited up was the 2011-12 campaign — Bynum’s breakout year. That season he averaged 18.7 points and 11.8 rebounds in 35.2 minutes per game (all career marks).
