The Atlanta Hawks are hosting a free open practice for fans at Philips Arena today!
Coach Budenholzer said fans can expect to see the roster of 20 players in full scrimmage, Hawks beat writer Chris Vivlamore reported.
“It’s basically going to be a scrimmage,” Budenholzer said. “We’ll get (the players) warmed up, loosened up, and we are going to play.”
The practice is free to the public. Tip-off is set for 5:00 p.m. and doors at the CNN entrance will open an hour earlier at 4:00 p.m.
“Open practice will consist of two teams of current Hawks players scrimmaging during three, 12-minute quarters,” reads the Hawks’ official press release. “In-game elements for the day include a Q&A with Coach Budenholzer, play-by-play from the voice of the Hawks, Steve Holman, appearances by Atlanta Hawks cheerleaders and Harry the Hawk, and a 50/50 jackpot raffle benefitting the Atlanta Hawks Foundation.”

In case you can’t make it to Philips Arena, the practice will also be streamed live on Hawks.com.
