It looks as though the Atlanta Hawks are making more moves with D-League affiliate Bakersfield Jam as John Jenkins is now joining Dennis Schröder in California. Meanwhile, second-year guard Jared Cunningham was recalled from Bakersfield and will rejoin the Hawks.

Jared Cunningham’s return to Atlanta is likely a move to keep the guard depth in case Kyle Korver or Cartier Martin is unable to go.

Jenkins’ reassignment seems to be an initiative by the Hawks to get their young guards more playing time as, like Dennis, John has seen little playing time with Lou Williams, Korver and Martin seeing most of the minutes at shooting guard.

Chris Vivlamore also reported that Cunningham was at shootaround this morning and is available for tonight’s game against Cleveland. It’s unknown whether or not Jenkins is with Bakersfield as they prepare to play the Los Angeles D-Fenders tonight.

Hawks 2013 first-round draft pick Dennis Schröder was assigned to Bakersfield on Wednesday — he will play for the Jam tonight.
