Gustavo Ayon "Doubtful" vs Thunder

Atlanta Hawks backup big man Gustavo Ayon is listed as “doubtful” to play tonight against the visiting Oklahoma City Thunder after injuring his ankle in Friday’s win against Cleveland.

Ayon’s injury occurred in the final minute of Friday’s home win over the visiting Cavaliers after he was involved in a collision under the Cavs’ basket and limped off the court.

Shortly after, Hawks beat writer Chris Vivlamore of the AJC reported Ayon suffered a left ankle sprain and a leg contusion.

Ayon did not return to the game after the injury and finished with six points, seven rebounds and three assists in 20 minutes of action.

Ayon was present and dressed at yesterday’s team practice, but did not participate. He will be re-evaluated prior to tip-off.
