The injury-riddled Atlanta Hawks made a move today to add some much-needed depth to their roster by recalling second-year guard Jared Cunningham from the D-League.
ROSTER UPDATE: We have recalled Jared Cunningham from Bakersfield. He will be available tonight in Milwaukee.

Hawks beat writer Chris Vivlamore of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution was the first to mention this move would likely happen when he tweeted last night, “Very good chance Jared Cunningham joins Hawks in Milwaukee Saturday.” Of course, Viv was correct and he confirmed his hunch earlier today.
Cunningham was re-assigned to the Bakersfield Jam, Atlanta’s D-League affiliate, on January 1. He’s averaged 15.2 points, 4.2 assists, 3.5 rebounds and 1.1 steals per game with the Jam this season over three different stints.
With Jeff Teague ruled out for the Hawks’ two-game road trip, Shelvin Mack will get the nod as the start point guard in Milwaukee on Saturday and Oklahoma City on Monday.
Lou Williams will likely start alongside Mack in the backcourt, which means Kyle Korver would slide up to the small forward position. If this turns out to be the case, the only guards on the bench tonight will be Cunningham and rookie Dennis Schroder.
DeMarre Carroll, the usual starting SF, was held out of Friday’s game with a hamstring strain and is a game-time decision for tonight’s matchup.
