Atlanta Hawks to Host First-Ever “Dodgeball For A Cause” Tournament on Saturday

The Atlanta Hawks may be in preparations to face the Memphis Grizzlies Saturday night, but that isn’t the only event planned tomorrow at Philips Arena.

The Hawks are hosting their first ever “Dodgeball For A Cause” tournament tomorrow before the Hawks-Grizzlies game.

The tournament is an effort to raise funds for the Atlanta Hawks Foundation, which holds numerous programs for Georgia’s youth.

The entry to the tournament is $50, which guarantees you a spot on a team, but will also get you a ticket to the Hawks game that follows the event as well as a T-Shirt.

Prizes will be awarded for various achievements such as Best Team Name, Best Costume, Most Valuable Dodger and of course the Championship Team.

The tournament is set to begin at 1:00 p.m., and is expected to finish at 5:00 p.m. The Hawks-Grizzlies game will follow the tournament with tip-off set for 7:30 p.m.

Registration for the event can be found here.
