Injured Atlanta Hawks players DeMarre Carroll and Jeff Teague both traveled to Detroit, but are reportedly “game-time decisions” for tonight’s matchup against the Pistons.
Carroll missed the last two games with a left hamstring strain, while Teague had to leave Wednesday’s home game against Washington after suffering a sprained left ankle in the fourth quarter.
If neither player can go, it’s likely Shelvin Mack will replace Teague and Lou Williams will replace Carroll — Williams would play shooting guard with Kyle Korver sliding up to small forward.
Usually, Cartier Martin would backup Carroll, but it’s unknown if Martin is with the team today after the Hawks waived him yesterday to make room for the Antwan Jamison trade. In a twist of fate, Atlanta is expected to buyout Jamison and then sign Martin for the remainder of the season. Although, that has not been confirmed by the organization, but has been reported by Hawks beat writer Chris Vivlamore of the AJC:
Confirmed that the Hawks will waive Antawn Jamison. Signed Cartier Martin for the remainder of the season. #ATLHawks

If Martin is with the Hawks in Detroit, he’ll start for Carroll if he’s out again.
Check back soon for updates.
In related team news, the Hawks recalled Jared Cunningham from the D-League. He will be available for tonight’s game.
