Atlanta Hawks backup combo guard Lou Williams missed his third straight practice on Friday but was excused due to birth of his daughter, reports Chris Vivlamore of the AJC.
This is Lou’s second child — both girls. He has a 3-year-old daughter named Jada.
He missed practice on Wednesday and Thursday, and was out for Thursday night’s game against the Milwaukee Bucks but is expected to be back for Saturday’s home game against the Denver Nuggets.
It will be good to have Lou back, although he hasn’t made much of a contribution in the last two wins and seems to have fallen out of the Hawks’ rotation as he hasn’t logged any minutes in the past three games, despite being healthy.
Hopefully Lou gets back in the rotation soon.
