Coming off a stretch in which the Atlanta Hawks lost six consecutive games and 14 of 15 overall, they had a chance to change momentum and start a winning streak Thursday night if they could take care of business at home against former coach Larry Drew and the last-place Milwaukee Bucks.
Jeff Teague made sure his Hawks got the job done with a stellar performance, as he led all players with 22 points and eight assists. However, it was his last field goal of the game that served as the exclamation point to Atlanta’s victory when Teague threw down a sick tomahawk dunk to put the team up 96-89 with 28 seconds remaining, slamming the door shut on the Bucks and sealing the Hawks’ second straight victory.

Teague and the Hawks will try for their third win in a row Saturday night when they host the Denver Nuggets at 7:30 p.m. (ET) on NBA TV.
