Elton Brand Ties Cedric Maxwell for 96th in Free Throws Made in NBA History

Hawks veteran center Elton Brand tied former pro baller Cedric Maxwell for 96th in most made free throws in NBA history last night during Atlanta’s 97-92 win over the Denver Nuggets.

Brand needed just one free throw to tie Maxwell at 3,598 career makes, and got the job done in the final minute of the third quarter by hitting 1-of-2 from the line.

Sitting just above Brand at 95th all-time is NBA Hall-of-Famer Chris Mullin with 3,616 career makes from the charity stripe.
