The slumping Atlanta Hawks are trying to rebound from losing 14 times in their last 15 games, and have done a nice of doing so recently, winning three games in a row. The Hawks will look to make it four straight wins tonight against the Charlotte Bobcats.
This is the third-of-four meetings between Atlanta and Charlotte this season. The Hawks lead the series 2-0. They beat the Bobcats 103-94 in Charlotte back in November and won 118-116 in a thrilling overtime game at home in Atlanta on Dec. 28.
If the Hawks could beat the Bobcats again tonight, it would be the 11th straight win over Charlotte in the all-time series. Atlanta swept the Bobcats 4-0 in both 2011-12 and 2012-13.
A victory would also give them a season-best fourth straight win while gaining a game in the standings on the Bobcats, who are just ahead of them in the Eastern Conference playoff race.
Atlanta (29-35) is currently eighth in the East and sits 2.5 games behind Charlotte (33-34).
