The Atlanta Hawks will be without the services of combo guard Lou Williams tonight against the Pistons, reports Chris Vivlamore of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

This will be the second straight game Williams is out, as he’s dealing with a sore left hamstring — he did not play in Sunday’s blowout win at Indiana.

Shelvin Mack and Cartier Martin are candidates to see extra playing time in Williams’ absence.

The last game Lou played in — Friday vs. the Cavaliers — he dropped 16 points on 6-of-9 shooting and added six assists in 21 minutes of action.

Atlanta has another home game tomorrow against the Boston Celtics. Right now it appears Williams is day-to-day,

Check back tomorrow for an update on Lou’s status.
