Bench players Shelvin Mack and Mike Scott combined for 37 points and the Hawks won a vital road game at Indiana to take a 3-2 series lead over the top-seeded Pacers on Monday night.
Scott went off early in the second quarter, hitting four 3-pointers in the first two minutes and had 17 points midway through the period. He was perfect from the field in the first half.

Mack led Atlanta with 20 points and five assists. Starters Paul Millsap (18), Kyle Korver (16), DeMarre Carroll (15) and Jeff Teague (12) were also in double-figures.
Paul George led Indiana with 26 points and 12 rebounds.
George has posted a double-double in all five games of the series. He also added an impressive six assists and six steals in the loss Monday night.
David West, Lance Stephenson and George Hill each chipped in with 16 points apiece, while also filling the stat sheet in other ways.
The Pacers were leading 21-20 after the first quarter but Atlanta erupted in the second period, outscoring the home team 41-19 and rode that momentum to the end of the game to a 10-point victory.
