2014 NBA Draft Lottery Results: Cleveland Cavaliers Win No. 1 Pick

The 2014 NBA Draft Lottery results were announced Tuesday night and it was the Cleveland Cavaliers hitting the jackpot winning the No. 1 draft pick.

The Cavs have won the top spot in the draft for the third time in the last four years, and the fourth time since 2003.

Cleveland drafted native son LeBron James first overall in 2003. Eight years later, they drafted stud point guard Kyrie Irving with the #1 pick in 2011, and selected Canadian-born power forward Anthony Bennett first overall last year much to everyone’s surprise.

Now, for the second straight year, the Cavs have the top spot in the NBA Draft.

2014’s draft class is believed to be one of the most talented classes in the past decade with three “can’t miss” prospects leading the way in Andrew Wiggins, Joel Embiid and Jabari Parker.

Wiggins is considered the top player in the 2014 draft, according to ESPN’s Chad Ford’s latest rankings.
