NBA Draft 2014: Full First Round Results

The 2014 NBA Draft is rolling, and the first round is now complete!

There were a couple of surprises in the top-10 picks, some trades midway through and some very questionable selections towards the end of the first round — you’ll see what I mean.

 

Here is the full first-round results of the 2014 NBA Draft:

1. Cleveland Cavaliers – Andrew Wiggins (SF), Kansas

2. Milwaukee Bucks – Jabari Parker (SF), Duke

3. Philadelphia 76ers – Joel Embiid (C), Kansas

4. Orlando Magic – Aaron Gordon (F), Arizona

5. Utah Jazz – Dante Exum (PG), Australia

6. Boston Celtics – Marcus Smart (PG), Oklahoma State

7. Los Angeles Lakers – Julius Randle (PF), Kentucky

8. Sacramento Kings – Nik Stauskas (SG), Michigan

9. Charlotte Hornets – Noah Vonleh (PF), Indiana

10. Philadelphia 76ers – Elfrid Payton (PG),  Louisiana-Lafayette

11. Denver Nuggets — Doug McDermott (PF), Creighton [traded to Chicago Bulls for picks #16 and #19]

12. Orlando Magic – Dario Saric (PF), Turkey [traded to 76ers for #10 pick Elfrid Payton]

13. Minnesota Timberwolves — Zach LaVine (SG), UCLA

14. Phoenix Suns — T.J. Warren (SF), North Carolina State

15. Atlanta Hawks – Adreian Payne (PF), Michigan State

16. Chicago Bulls — Jusuf Nurkic (C), Bosnia [traded to Denver Nuggets, along with #19 pick for #11 pick Doug McDermott]

17. Boston Celtics — James Young (SF), Kentucky

18. Phoenix Suns — Tyler Ennis (PG), Syracuse

19. Chicago Bulls — Gary Harris (SG), Michigan State [traded to Denver Nuggets, along with the #16 pick Jusuf Nurkic, for #11 pick Doug McDermott]

20. Toronto Raptors — Bruno Cabocio (SF), Brazil

21. Oklahoma City Thunder — Mitch McGary (PF), Michigan

22. Memphis Grizzlies — Jordan Adams (SG), UCLA

23. Utah Jazz — Rodney Hood (SF), Duke

24. Charlotte Hornets — Shabazz Napier (PG), UConn [traded to Heat for #26 pick]

25. Houston Rockets — Clint Capela (PF/C), Switzerland

26. Miami Heat – PJ Hairston (SG), NBA D-League [traded to Hornets for #24 pick Shabazz Napier]
