NBA Draft 2014: Philadelphia 76ers Select Elfrid Payton with #10 Pick

Happy NBA Draft night!

The show started as expected, with the top three freshmen prospects going 1, 2, 3, as Cleveland chose Andrew Wiggins with the #1 pickMilwaukee selected Jabari Parker #2 and Philadelphia took Joel Embiid with the #3 pick.

Now, with the #10 overall selection in the 2014 NBA Draft, the Philadelphia 76ers select former Louisiana-Lafayette point guard Elfrid Payton.

This was the second first-round pick for the 76ers — they drafted 7’0″ center Joel Embiid with the #3 pick.
