The Atlanta Hawks want John Jenkins to ease back into playing basketball following back surgery, so they have ruled him out of playing back-to-back days at Summer League in Las Vegas, reports Hawks beat writer Chris Vivlamore of the AJC.

Jenkins played the opening game of Summer League action against the Washington Wizards, but will sit out today’s game against the D-League Select Team because it’s the second game of a back-to-back.

Jenkins should be good to go next game against the Portland Trail Blazers on Tuesday.
