Several members of the Atlanta Hawks family have accepted the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge, and next up is majority owner Bruce Levenson.

The challenge, in which a person dumps a bucket of ice water over their head, is to spread awareness of the disease amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), also known as Lou Gehrig’s disease, and encourage donations to research. 

ALS is a disease of the nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord that control voluntary muscle movement.
