VIDEO: Hawks Owner Bruce Levenson Accepts ALS Ice Bucket Challenge

Several members of the Atlanta Hawks family have accepted the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge, and next up is majority owner Bruce Levenson.

The challenge, in which a person dumps a bucket of ice water over their head, is to spread awareness of the disease amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), also known as Lou Gehrig’s disease, and encourage donations to research.

ALS is a disease of the nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord that control voluntary muscle movement.

Watch Bruce’s video below, including him nominating NBA Hall-of-Famer and Hawks Vice President of Basketball Dominique Wilkins!

Nice touch with the trampoline, Mr. Levenson.
