Brooklyn wasn’t too kind to the Hawks in this matinée matchup. The Nets seventh try was the charm and thoughts of a sweep were quickly swept up for Atlanta after a grinding 91-83 defeat at the Barclays Center.

The Hawks now have an opportunity to answer the adjustments that were made against them in Game 3 and try to bolt the borough with a steal in Game 4. It’s been confirmed that the game on Monday will be a 7 P.M. tip airing on NBA TV.

The offense hasn’t been on par with the defense all series long and that discrepancy finally caught up with Atlanta. After battling back to take over the lead late in the third, the Hawks fell victim to a crushing 18-0 run that put the final nail in the coffin. Brook Lopez finished with 22 points and 13 boards in the victory while DeMarre Carroll and Paul Millsap combined for 40 points to pace the Hawks.

There will be lots of tinkering to do before Game 4 so let’s dive right into your Atlanta Hawks grades and see what we learned from this game.
