Ex-Hawk Watch: December 7th, 2016
Devin Harris
3 points, 4 rebounds, 1 assist, 0 steals, 0 blocks in 17 minutes in a 120-89 loss vs Kings
Who gets blown out by the Sacramento Kings? Devin Harris and the Mavericks do.
Justin Holiday
3 points, 4 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 steal, 0 blocks in 14 minutes in a 126-94 loss vs Cavs
No Knicks played exceedingly well, but it is notable that Holiday was not sent out to play garbage time minutes, meaning he is an active member of the rotation.
Al Horford
10 points, 6 rebounds, 8 assists, 0 steals, 2 blocks in 29 minutes in a 117-87 win @ Orlando
The Celtics beat a team that they should and Al Horford had more assists than rebounds.
Jason Terry
0 points, 0 rebounds, 0 assists, 1 steal, 0 blocks in 10 minutes in a 115-107 win vs Trail Blazers
Why is this still something that I must write about on a nearly daily basis?
Justin Holiday
4 points, 5 rebounds, 3 assists, 0 steals, 1 block in 22 minutes in a 115-98 win @ Clippers
Where would the Warriors be without Zaza Pachulia? Likley without 4 points, 5 rebounds, and three assists.
Jeff Teague
19 points, 5 rebounds, 11 assists, 2 steals, 0 blocks in 36 minutes in a 109-94 win vs Suns
Teague has been playing well since a shaky start to the season. Jeff Teague will be an NBA All-Star this season.
Marvin Williams
12 points, 5 rebounds, 0 assists, 1 steal, 0 blocks in 25 minutes in a 87-77 win vs Pistons
In his first game back from a knee injury, Williams played very well and the Hornets came out with a win.
Lou Williams
24 points, 1 rebound, 0 assists, 3 steals, 0 blocks in 25 minutes in a 134-95 loss @ Houston
Lou Will has resurged as one of the best ten scorers in the NBA this season, yet it meat nothing as the the Lakers were thrashed away from home.
Best Performance of the Night by a former Hawk
Lou Williams
Currently, there are about five players in the NBA that are playing better than Lou Williams. With no context involved, Williams is a consistent 20 point, 5 assist, 4 rebound game waiting to happen. When the Lakers play the Warriors in the 1st round of the 2017 playoffs, and Lou Will drop 50, don’t forget who warned you.
