Atlanta Hawks Headlines is back with articles reacting to Atlanta’s Saturday night loss at the hands of the Orlando Magic.

I’d like to tell you that today’s Atlanta Hawks Headlines will feature a slew of articles that radiate positive analysis. Sadly, that would be a lie. The Atlanta Hawks have opened the “second half” of their season with back to back losses to Southeast Division opponents.

On Friday, the Hawks fell to the Miami Heat in a game that wasn’t particularly close. Saturday, they fell to the Orlando Magic in a similar fashion. Is it time to panic? Or is this just a momentary blip on the radar?

Atlanta faces the Boston Celtics and the Cleveland Cavaliers in two of their next three games. They better get themselves together quickly or the losses will start to pile up. Enough lamenting. Let’s take a look at this morning’s fresh batch of content.

Atlanta Hawks Lose To Orlando Magic 105-86

Our recap of Atlanta’s loss to the Orlando Magic focuses on Atlanta’s poor offensive performance. Once again the Hawks shot under 40 percent from the field and below 35 percent from three-point range. The Magic feasted in the paint and Terrence Ross scored 24 points on 11-for-15 shooting. Orlando did well to land him in the Serge Ibaka trade. Their roster is finally starting to show some balance. That will help them in the long run.

Despite deciding against a rebuild, the Hawks still don’t appear to be contenders to make the Eastern Conference Finals.

Hawks flounder in 105-86 blowout loss to Magic

Also at Peachtree Hoops, Brad Rowland recaps Atlanta’s lackluster effort against the Magic. A dominant third quarter helped seal the game for Orlando. If Atlanta plays this way Monday against the Celtics, Rowland writes that the end result could be ugly.

Hawks more than late for bus in loss to Magic

Chris Vivlamore’s recap of the loss to the Magic in The Atlanta Journal-Constitution also reports on Dennis Schroder being late for the team bus. Schroder was punished by starting the game on the bench. The team seems like they want to move on from this issue and focus on getting better as a team.

What a Paul Millsap max contract would look like for the Atlanta Hawks

Again at Peachtree Hoops, an investigation of what Paul Millsap‘s max contract would look like for the Hawks. All roads point to Atlanta offering him this type of deal after the season.

Hopefully tomorrow’s selection of articles have a more positive vibe. A Hawks win on Monday against the Boston Celtics would help make that happen.
