Today Atlanta Hawks Headlines looks at Ersan Ilyasova‘s fit in Atlanta, Dennis Schroder‘s role this season, Atlanta’s game with the Nets, and more.

Atlanta Hawks Headlines never rests. Except when it takes a few days off to refresh its batteries. Then it rests. The Atlanta Hawks have had an interesting few days. They’re 2-5 since the All-Star break and their most recent loss was dominated by a controversial benching.

Those days are hopefully behind them. This is still a playoff team that has more to focus on than internal squabbles. They’re still talented enough to make a little noise when the postseason rolls around.

Today’s headlines focus on Ersan Ilyasova’s perfect fit with the Hawks, Dennis Schroder’s struggles this season, Atlanta’s contest against the lowly Brooklyn Nets, whether or not Tim Hardaway Jr. is worth a long-term contract, and much more.
