Atlanta Hawks Headlines returns with reaction to Atlanta’s huge Game 3 win over the Washington Wizards in the first round of the NBA Playoffs.

Do you believe in miracles? Yes! Al Michaels said those immortal words when the USA National Hockey Team upset the Soviet Union in the 1980 Olympics. Okay, the Atlanta Hawks winning a single playoff game against the Washington Wizards wasn’t quite a miracle. It was still important and worth celebrating.

I think the Wizards thought they were going to sweep Atlanta. Washington entered the Game 3 with a cockiness and a swagger that great teams are supposed to have. They’d won the first two games with relative ease thanks to the play of John Wall and Bradley Beal, and there were no signs of them slowing down.

The Hawks shoved that swagger right back down their throats and won in a blowout. There was still some anger after the game from both teams, as they traded hostile words through the media. It would appear that these teams really don’t like each other. That makes for some entertaining basketball.

The NBA Playoffs are more fun when the players aren’t planning to ride banana boats together in two weeks. Let the hate flow through you. Let’s dive into Atlanta Hawks Headlines to take the temperature of Atlanta’s series against the Washington Wizards.
