The Atlanta Hawks have been busy at work this offseason.

The beginning of the offseason is for players to rest and recover from the rigorous trifles of the NBA season. However, for several Atlanta Hawks players, the offseason has been about working and getting better.

Through social media, we have gotten some glimpses of several Hawks hard at work either on the court or in the weight room.

Restricted free agent to be Tim Hardaway Jr. is putting up plenty of shots on the hardwood possibly pondering about the new deal he is set to be offered. Atlanta has high hopes to re-sign the guard fresh off a breakout season. If Hardaway keeps up work like this, he could emerge as the league’s next star.

Second-year players Taurean Prince and Malcolm Delaney have also been caught getting stronger in the weight room this summer.

Prince looks to take over the role as the starting small forward of the Atlanta Hawks, and if this work keeps up he should have no problem. Delaney, coming off an up-and-down rookie season, looks to be Atlanta’s primary backup point guard next season.

The other Hawks rookie DeAndre’ Bembry has also been putting in work in the weight room. Bembry hopes to be a larger part of the Atlanta Hawks rotation in year two of his NBA career. With continual hard work, we should see a new and improved Bembry next season. We are also saddened at the removal of Bembry’s rather glorious afro. It will be missed.

Hawks point guard Dennis Schroder will also be plenty occupied this offseason. It was recently announced that Schroder will be playing for the German national team at EuroBasket 2017.

Next: Does Jarrett Allen fit with the Atlanta Hawks?

Dennis will look to dominate for his home-nation team as well as further his game against more professional competition.
