A look at four of the best catch-and-shoot threats for the Atlanta Hawks in the 2019 NBA Draft.

With the 2019 NBA Draft coming up quickly, the Atlanta Hawks have already added another pick to their coffers thanks to the shocking (yet sensible) Taurean Prince trade with the Brooklyn Nets.

Now replete with a tremendous six picks in the 2019 NBA Draft, the Atlanta Hawks are certainly sitting pretty when it comes to adding talented players to the team’s young core of Trae Young, Kevin Huerter and John Collins.

One area in which the team will likely be looking to increase its talent is on the perimeter. In particular, Hawks GM Travis Schlenk has made his love of three-point shooting clear from the get-go with selections of three perimeter gunners in the 2018 NBA Draft (Young, Big Huert and Omari Spellman) as well as the selection of noted sharpshooter Tyler Dorsey in the 2017 NBA Draft (now on the Grizzlies).

Just as the NBA’s pace-and-space revolution has transformed the way the game is played, that influence has filtered down the NCAA as well. With three-point jumpers on the rise worldwide, it goes without saying that NCAA men’s basketball is also experiencing something of a three-point boom.

Despite the NCAA moving the three-point line back to the European standard, there is likely no end in sight.

With that in mind, let’s take a look at four players the Atlanta Hawks could ponder taking in the 2019 NBA Draft that would be able to immediately come in and splash down three-pointers at a rollicking pace.
