8) January 16 vs Nets – London Baby!

The Hawks will play the Brooklyn Nets in London to square off against a rebuilt, star studded roster.

The Nets added Paul Pierce, Jason Terry, and Kevin Garnett as part of a Boston rebuilding effort in exchange for Kris Humphries and Gerald Wallace. They have also added Russian forward Andrei Kirilenko to a team owned by country mate Mikhail Prokhorov. This is not to forget matching up with longtime Hawks Joe Johnson. Add a trip across the pond, the first one in the regular season in Hawks franchise history, as well as two teams fighting for positioning in the Eastern Conference and you have a lot of intrigue here.
