The Hawks travel to the Big Easy to face the newly re-named New Orleans Pelicans. The Pelicans have added former Sacramento King Tyreke Evans along with Jrue Holiday from the 76ers in a very crowded backcourt. It’s an interesting collection of talent that may form an awkwardly effective group by midseason.
I may or may not have included this game solely because of the novelty of an NBA franchise with a pelican as a mascot.
