2. Who are you disappointed to not see in this year’s Slam Dunk Contest?

Menze: Blake Griffin. I know he already had his time to shine in this event the past few years, but the dude is easily the best dunker in the game today. Blake’s in-game dunks are insane, like that windmill he threw down in mid-air off an alley-oop from CP3 a week ago — it was crazy. He also punishes the rim by the way he attacks the basket with such intensity. Yeah, he’s fun to watch.

Donoho: It’d be easy to say LeBron, but I would like to see DeAndre Jordan in this event. He can fly with the best of them. He turned down an invitation to participate because he wasn’t selected to the All-Star Team, and that’s a shame.

Morton: Piggybacking on my first answer, I’ll say LeBron James. Wouldn’t it be great to see a four time MVP and two time NBA Champion display his incredible athleticism on this stage? I understand he’s not exactly young anymore and he’s turned down this opportunity many times, but just once in his career I’d like to see one of the greatest to ever don an NBA jersey take part in this historic event.

Perry: LeBron James. He keeps leading the media on about possibly entering his name in the contest and turning it down after letting excitement build for months. It’s time he stepped up and stopped acting above the competition.

Blue: DeAndre Jordan. I like seeing a front court player in the contest every year and Jordan is one of the most athletic bigs out there. Seeing Jordan try to get creative  with his dunking ability would be something to see.

Coverage of tonight’s events begins at 8 p.m. (ET) on TNT with the Slam Dunk Contest set to tip-off following the conclusion of the Three-Point Contest. Click here for the complete list of Slam Dunk Contest participants.
