Reactions: The Good

  • Let’s start off with the picture above, because it tells the story of a 65 second spell that virtually decided the game. We all know how much Kyle Korver has hated playing with his protective face mask, and last night it seemed like he let his frustrations out with an incredible spell of shooting. Korver actually struggled all night, but the ability to score 11 points in just over a minute is awe-inspiring in itself. Let’s keep that one in the chamber for the Playoffs, Kyle!
  • DeMarre Carroll continued his good play of late with a great all-around performance, stuffing the stat sheet. The Junkyard Dog played Alpha Dog in this one, with contested jumpers and tough floaters all no problem for the Alabama native on the night.
  • Mike Muscala got a chance to play some solid minutes again, and celebrated by making athree-pointer for a third consecutive game. If Moose can become consistent from deep, that will be a very interesting development for Atlanta’s rotation and give yet another option to stretch the floor.
