Reactions: The Good

  • Thabo Sefolosha impressed last night against Milwaukee, and then he followed that up with a new season high of 19 against the Detroit Pistons. The Swiss has truly found his feet with the Hawks now, and offensively is looking like the player he was two or three years ago in Oklahoma City.
  • Al Horford came out on fire in this one, just like he also did the night before in Philips Arena, except this time he kept it going. 8-10 from the field in 24 minutes is nothing to be sniffed at, and if El Jefe is coming into form with his mid-range game now, that can only be good news for the Playoffs.
  • Aside from Sefolosha, there were other great bench contributions too. Shelvin Mack shot lights out in the absence of Dennis Schröder. Mike Muscala was crashing the glass as if his life depended on it. Even Austin Daye came in for a few minutes and looked incredibly active.
