Reactions: The Bad
- The Hawks allowed the Pistons to shoot just under 50 percent from the field, and you’re not going to win many games by doing that. Sure, Detroit made some real bombs, but Atlanta allowed their opponent more space tonight than they usually do. That doesn’t just go for three-pointers either, as the Hawks let up far too many open lanes for layups.
- Aside from Horford the shooting of Atlanta’s big men was catastrophic. Millsap, Muscala and Antic combined to go 3-23 from the field, where even if they had managed to average a combined 35 percent between them, that would have been enough to get the Hawks over the line.
