Atlanta Hawks Grades: Starters

Jeff Teague, B+

15 Points | 4-11 FG | 7-11 FT | 6 REB | 12 AST | 4 STL | 1 BLK |

His shot may not have been falling, and sure he was reckless at times, but this was a do-it all performance from Teague. Twelve assists and four steals are nothing to sniff at for any point guard, and when you throw in the six rebounds it make for a very impressive night.

Kyle Korver, B-

9 Points| 3-6 FG | 0-0 FT | 4 REB | 7 AST | 2 STL | 1 BLK |

Kyle was 3-4 from deep, and it was nice to see him locked in from distance again. People around the league somehow still seem to believe that Korver is one-dimensional though, and his seven assists should go towards proving those people wrong once again.

DeMarre Carroll, A+

19 Points | 7-13  FG | 2-2 FT | 9 REB | 4 AST | 1 STL | 0 BLK |

DeMarre’s offensive game and energy was just as red-hot as it has been for close to his last ten games. If the Hawks somehow luck their way into a lottery pick via the Nets, they’ll owe the Junkyard Dog a big thank you. This game turned, on Carroll drawing a charge, and then rescuing the ball from going out of bounds moments later. Outstanding effort.

Mike Muscala, B-

9 Points| 4-6 FG | 2-2 FT | 1 REB | 2 AST | 2 STL | 1 BLK |

The funny thing that I’m noticing with Moose is that it tends to be all or nothing on the boards, as he either goes for one rebound (like on this occasion) or grabs 13. Otherwise, another nice, efficient game for the former Bucknell Bison.

Al Horford, A

24 Points | 11-20 FG | 1-1 FT | 7 REB | 4 AST | 2 STL | 1 BLK |

At this rate, we’re all going to run out of superlatives for Al Horford. The Boss is playing on another level right now, and no matter where he finds himself on the floor, on what end, in his current form it looks like a mismatch in is favor.
