Atlanta Hawks Grades: Bench

Kent Bazemore, C+

4 Points | 1-4 FG | 2-3 FT | 3 REB | 0 AST | 0 STL | 0 BLK |

Bazemore has been hit and miss recently, and in this one he was definitely more of a miss, at least offensively. What was highlighted once again though, was coach Budenholzer’s belief in him as a defensive stopper. With the game on the line, it was Baze who Bud kept inserting for defensive possessions

Mike Scott, A-

20 Points | 7-14 FG | 4-6 FT | 8 REB | 2 AST | 0 STL | 0 BLK |

Boy, was it great to see this Mike Scott back. Back to his old self, not only was Mike unafraid of taking shots, but he was making them too. A stellar rebounding effort can’t go unmentioned either, as although he doesn’t always get the credit for it, Scott did a great job of boxing out defensively.

Dennis Schröder, B-

9 Points| 4-9 FG | 0-0 FT | 1 REB | 3 AST | 0 STL | 0 BLK |

Dennis is still feeling his way back to full fitness following a couple of games he missed due to a toe injury, but he was more aggressive here than he was the previous night against Phoenix, and he reaped the rewards as a result.

Shelvin Mack, C+

3 Points | 1-1 FG | 0-0 FT | 0 REB | 0 AST | 0 STL | 0 BLK |

Mack only got seven minutes of run, but as per usual, he was steady, reliable and did nothing to hurt his team. A nice three-pointer was an added bonus, and should continue to boost his confidence heading into the post-season.

Elton Brand, C+

2 Points| 1-2 FG | 0-0 FT | 1 REB | 1 AST | 0 STL | 0 BLK |

If you think Elton Brand is finished up, or too old, he came out to prove you wrong last night! Brand was another with limited opportunity in this one, but he seized his, by turning the clock back for a beautiful spin move and reverse layup.
