When Brook Lopez Rests, Attack the Paint
The entire team did a good job taking advantage of the painted area when Brook Lopez was out. Miles Plumlee is a big strong body for the Nets, but doesn’t pose a real threat to the Hawks front court. The difference in rim protection from Lopez to Plumlee, is monstrous. The Hawks should be pounding the ball in the paint when Lopez sits. This also includes the guards. Atlanta is a good free throw shooting team. Extra points in the playoffs play big dividends down the stretch.
