Playing With Two Guards
In game one, Jeff Teague and Dennis Schroder combined for thirty points. That damage certainly wasn’t all done playing side by side. However, when the two guards have played together during this series, they’ve looked great.
The combination of the two point guards gives the Hawks a considerable advantage in speed and quickness when matched against Brooklyn’s backcourt. Both Teague and Schroder have been really good in the pick & roll. It gives Atlanta two players that can either pull-up or attack the rim.

Their are downsides. Budenholzer knows exactly when to pair the two on the court. Chemistry between two point guards isn’t always the case, but its really worked for Teague. Having them wear down the Nets players in the backcourt is also an advantage for the Hawks.
